Making KYC Resumable Without Starting Over
I designed and tested a shift from sequential KYC to a task-based flow with persistent progress. A randomized usability study with 30 participants found no significant difference in SUS or total misclicks. Flow B still became the implementation baseline because it introduced no meaningful usability penalty and fit the behavior Autosave needed to support.

Designing a KYB Fast Track for 15,000 Merchants
AstraPay needed to process roughly 15,000 SRC merchants in 2–3 months with about three Operations reviewers. Rather than rebuild KYB, I changed the review model through validated cohort routing, single-pass review for clear cases, and secondary review for exceptions. The onboarding target was completed without a major rebuild of the core system.

Turning QRIS Into a Top Up Channel
AstraPay needed a top-up flow for moments when another person was physically present to fund the balance. I adapted a familiar QRIS payment pattern, designed the happy path and transaction states with engineering, and kept the user flow short. By 2026, QRIS Top Up represented 9.3% of cash-in and ranked among the top two channels.

Testing When a Pedagogical Agent Actually Helps Learning
I designed a 2×2 mixed-factorial study with 157 participants to test whether a visible pedagogical agent helps psychomotor and cognitive learning tasks in the same way. The agent improved psychomotor performance and self-efficacy, but did not improve cognitive performance and slightly reduced cognitive self-efficacy. I also validated AI-based gesture scoring against manual ratings (r=.842) and checked the key findings with robust models when statistical assumptions were not clean.
